Mountain Songs-Three possibilities.

    •  "Ain't no Mountain High Enough"  by Marvin Gaye & Tammi  Terrell

    • Elvis Presley You Gave Me a Mountain

    Creep-Radiohead- Three Versions.

    • The original version (1992)

    When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
    You're just like an angel
    Your skin makes me cry
    You float like a feather
    In a beautiful world
    I wish I was special
    You're so fucking special
    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
    I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts
    I want to have control
    I want a perfect body
    I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I'm not around
    You're so fucking special
    I wish I was special

    • The unplugged version by Korn (2006)

    • A very different version by Vintage Soul (2014)

Rolling in the Deep by Adele - Three versions.

There's a fire starting in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch, it's bringing me out the dark
Finally I can see you crystal clear
[Clean version:] Go 'head and sell me out and I'll lay your ship bare
[Explicit version:] Go 'head and sell me out and I'll lay your shit bare
See how I leave with every piece of you
Don't underestimate the things that I will do
There's a fire starting in my heart
    Reaching a fever pitch
And it's bringing me out the dark

A few days ago, Aretha Franklin released a new cover of this song.
The live version without any hint of autotune is much better. There is even an extract of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough!"

    My Favourite Things- Trois versions.

Hurt, a song by Nine Inch Nails- Three Versions.

I listened to this song yesterday performed by a Korean singer, Youn Sun Nah.

Here is the original version from 1994 :

It's extremely dark but the Johnny Cash version in 2002 was even more.

His revised version was used by Youn Sun Nah during the concert:

Songs about New York City !

New York City Cops par  The Strokes

     Rockaway Beach de The Ramones

Diet Mountain Dew De Lana Del Rey

Jenny From the Block de Jennifer Lopez

Empire State of Mind  de Jay-Z et Alicia Keys

Empire State of Mind, Part II, Broken Down d'Alicia Keys

Summer in The City de Regina Spektor

New York I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down de Lcd SoundSystem

Chelsea Hotel Number 2 de Leonard Cohen

    Brooklyn de Woodkid

I Love New York de Madonna

Somewhere in Brooklyn de Bruno Mars

I Run New York de 50 Cent
    (J'aime moins )
